After Byakuren's ruse as a youkai exterminator was exposed and humans became aware of her sympathy toward youkai, she was sealed away in Makai for the next 1000 years until a group of youkai she had saved previously reappear to break her free from her imprisonment during Undefined Fantastic Object.
